Community meetings for VATRE information, questions
Northwest ISD will host a series of five in-person presentation meetings for information about the upcoming Voter-Approval Tax Rate Election, providing community members with a chance to learn about the proposition.
To offer community members across the district the chance to hear the presentation and ask district leaders questions, meetings will take place at each comprehensive high school as well as in Wise County and Northlake. All meetings will take place at 6 p.m. and are expected to last about 30 to 45 minutes – 20 minutes of which will be the presentation, followed by questions.
Meeting dates and locations are as follows:
- 6 p.m. September 24: Daniel Elementary School Library (1901 Tye Street in Northlake)
- 6 p.m. September 30: Northwest High School Cafeteria (2301 Texan Drive in Justin)
- 6 p.m. October 1: Eaton High School PAC (1350 Eagle Boulevard in Haslet)
- 6 p.m. October 2: Byron Nelson High School Cafeteria (2775 Bobcat Boulevard in Trophy Club)
- 6 p.m. October 9: Chisholm Trail Middle School Cafeteria (583 F.M. 3433 in Rhome)
For local groups and organizations interested in additional meetings are welcome to reach out to the district to coordinate a personal presentation. Individuals who lead local organizations are encouraged to email Anthony Tosie, executive director of communications, at anthony.tosie@nisdtx.org with the date, time and location of an event to potentially schedule a presentation.
