Kay Downing, Librarian

I am Kay Downing, and I am excited to be your Tidwell Librarian. My husband, Shawn, and I have a very active 4.5 year old son, Wyatt. When we are not at the pool, we are usually chasing Wyatt around the house. I enjoy reading, exercise, movies, sewing, and spending time with my family. 

I graduated from the University of North Texas with my Masters in Library and Information Science. I worked in McKinney ISD for nine years before coming to Northwest ISD. I love the communities that Northwest ISD serves. I previously taught 7th grade ELA here at Tidwell Middle School.
